- 225g Plain Flour
- 350g Caster Sugar
- 85g Cocoa Powder
- 250ml Milk
- 2tsp Vanilla
- 1.5 tsp Baking Powder
- 1.5tsp Bicarb
- 2 Eggs
- 125ml Veg Oil
- 250ml Boiled Water
- Preheat oven to 180c (fan assisted, 200c for non-fan.) Line 2 8inch tins.
- Add all the ingredients except the water and beat until combined.
- Add boiling water a little at a time until the mixture is smooth.
- Divide into 2 tins, bake for 25-30 minutes.
Not a lot more to say about this. It’s just a nice Choc cake. Don’t forget to do your skewer test and don’t open the oven door until it’s time is up.
